Pilgrimage to Assisi

Francisco

To all human beings convey a scent of the pure life.
May this city be a place for all eternity for those who glorify Your blessed name.
Saint Francis

This blessing of Saint Francis expresses what has brought pilgrims to Assisi through the centuries. Assisi is a holy city filled with the prayers of the constant stream of pilgrims. Assisi is called a sacred space, with a direct link to the heavens, a communion of heaven and earth. In the middle of one of the most beautiful landscapes on earth, Assisi appears like a jewel.

We will spend time together building a sacred atmosphere to discover the sacred sites of the city and we will enter into a deep retreat process to experience their corresponding inner spaces in us.

Eremo

Our pilgrimage will introduce as to the city of Assisi, where we will visit the graves of St. Francis and of Clara, and many other places of pilgrimage.

Assisi

We would like to see and experience this pilgrimage and retreat as a journey of friends  discovering and sharing together.

All our tours and pilgrimages are spiritual journeys, in which we will focus upon visiting sacred shrines and tombs imbued with the presence of those beings and events which have deeply inspired humanity. But we also will be sharing the beauty of the various landscapes and contemporary culture, and the richness brought to the group by all its participants, the fellow pilgrims.

Francisco

We will be attentive to the internal sacred landscapes of our own heart and our own personal journey. To enhance this dimension, each morning will begin with a meditation and suggested spiritual practice related to the day’s touring. Participation in these sessions is of course optional.

As you might know, our travels and pilgrimages try to leave ample time for personal experience, and the group chemistry is very important to us. For this pilgrimage we are limiting therefore the group size to 20. So, if you are interested in sharing this adventure with us, register soon.

The pilgrimage starts on the afternoon of the 7th and ends in the evening of the 13th, departure from Assisi are the morning of the 14th. Those who like to arrive 1 day earlier may reserve their room for the night 6th-7th by including the extra fee.

We have been very lucky to find an outstanding hotel for our pilgrimage, the San Crispino Historical Residence, located in the historical centre of Assisi, the city of St. Francis. Between the 14th and the 20th century, three fraternities lived in the rooms which now compose San Crispino Historical Residence. If you like to know more please visit their website: www.sancrispinoresidence.com. Only our group will be  occupying the residence and its garden, so it’s perfect location for a pilgrimage.
