The human condition consists of much more than a random and meaningless stream of sensory impressions and conditioned reactions.  Life is an odyssey of discovery.  Human consciousness originates from, and ultimately returns to, the oceanic intelligence of Reality itself, the infinite and eternal fountainhead of Life.  From a mystical perspective it can be said that a human life-story is nothing more or less than an angle of vision by which Existence surveys the flowering of its own immortal beauty and thereby obtains the deep satisfaction and fulfillment of self-awareness.  Wider vision, greater awareness, deeper fulfillment: this is the expanding horizon of the journey that is human life.

This weeklong retreat is a plunge into the depths of human experience, where the life of the part meets the life of the whole.  Practicing silence, awareness of breath, attunement to the elements, contemplation of the sacred order of the cosmos, prayer, meditation, and divine remembrance, participants will be guided on an inner journey in pursuance of that for which the soul yearns.
