This program will focus on the exploration of Sufi teachings especially for young people. It will include practice in meditation and application of the experiences in one‘s inner life to one‘s outer life.

Pir Zia will share the teaching with students involved and being trained at Suluk academy, located in upstate New York. Music, dance, sharing and meeting other young adults will be integral part of this week.

At times participants of the youth camp will join the program.

This will be a new format and new experience for all and we envision a week based exploring new ways of teaching and interaction.
Pir Zia will be part of the program for 4 days, after that it will be continued on the last day by the other teachers and students.

Pir Zia Inayat Khan

Pir Zia Inayat Khan is the son and successor of Pir Vilayat Inayat Khan. He is the president and spiritual leader of the Sufi Order International (established by Hazrat Inayat Khan in London, 1917) and founding director of the Suluk Academy, an esoteric school of the Sufi Order International located in upstate New York.

In addition to the interfaith mystical training he has received from his father, Pir Zia has studied Buddhism under the auspices of His Holiness the Dalai Lama, and Sufism in the classical Indian tradition of the Chishtiyya.
