20 years Zenith Camp
Sufi Camp – The Camp at Campra

What if -
There would be a place and time every year where people from many countries, cultures and different lifetimes could get together in an environment that is spiritual, filled with joy, music and community; an oasis that permits us to be in solitude and/or within a spiritual family, whatever is needed for each person at that moment to step beyond the restrictions of daily life; all this in sincerity, joy and nature.

What if -
There would be a place to practice meditation from many different traditions, drawing on the insights behind the structures, in a setting without claims, not having to belong to any organisation, but filled with freedom to experience and to discover the potential within each person.

PVIK

This was the vision of Pir Vilayat Inayat Khan,
Founder of “The Camp” over 50 years ago. It has been a travelling caravan ever since. For the past 20 years this caravan of seekers has found a summer home at Campra in Switzerland. Every summer a small village appears on the mountain side and draws people from all over the world; to follow the vision of Pir Vilayat:

What if -
we could create a beautiful world of beautiful people? Let’s do it!

Pir Vilayat passed on to, in his own words, the galaxies, three years ago and as in any transition it has not been easy: fewer participants, less income to cover the expenses to create this little village built anew every summer. But on the other side; many new, younger people joined in the last years – a new generation is appearing. In order to support this process, we had to seriously look at our organisational and pricing policies.

The “Camp” has its own spirit, which goes way beyond just the seminars; most of the teachers came to the Camp as participants and grew with it, many of the staff came here as children in the children’s camp.

We are very committed to keeping the vision of Pir Vilayat alive - Please join us!
It really is unique and very important in today’s world.
