Passion, Purpose, Play and Presence

- Elements of a soulful life -
with Thomas Atum O´Kane
Week 4A  13.8.-18.8.2012

Carl Jung described the spiritual illness of our time as the loss of soul. These four qualities evoke a deep meeting of our soul and the soul of the world. They also provide a foundation for an integrated spiritual life:

The ecstasy of passionate love brings forth the divine spark within us and reveals the holy fire of passion as the source of radiant life. There are many ways in which this illuminating fire may ignite us as in mystical love, in sexual union and in the encounter with beauty.

The clarity of meaningful purpose offers us focus, orientation and soul satisfaction. Living a commitment to a deep purpose can catalyze our potential. Clarity releases the paralysis of ambiguity and aimlessness.

The joyous creativity of play opens us to the spontaneous revelation of life. Play liberates us from our fixed concepts of our self and expectations of how things are supposed to be. We are reborn out of creative imagination and the infusion of joy.

The freedom of being fully present resurrects us from our own fragmentation. Liberated from our attachments and fears associated with the past and future, we are immersed in the divine presence of the now. Present in our self, living in the present moment, the fullness of being is present.

The above will be explored through spiritual practises, creative exercises, movement and music. Teachings from various mystical traditions and Jungian psychology will be shared.

For this program a supplement of 62 euros is to be added to the "base price".
