For those considering joining the pilgrimage to Jerusalem and surrounding holy places, I would like to offer the following orientation. Ours will be a spiritual journey in which we will focus upon visiting shrines imbued with the presence of those beings and events which have deeply inspired humanity. We will also be attentive to the internal sacred landscapes of our own heart. We shall explore the parallels between the archetypal stories which form the basis of Judaism, Christianity and Islam, and our own personal journey. To enhance this dimension, each morning will begin with a meditation and suggested spiritual practice related to the day's touring.
Much of our time will be spent in the "Old City", an architectural gem surrounded by a wall made of "Jerusalem stone".
Ours will be a walking tour, so you will literally be following in the footsteps of the prophets. Jerusalem is a living city,
not a museum, with great variety of cultures, languages, clothing, sounds. Where else can you hear simultaneously the Islamic
call to prayer, singing of devout Jews at the wall, and church bells accompanying Gregorian Chants, along with the smells of
different spices, exotic foods, perfume oils in the market. All this contributes to a brilliant tapestry. Jerusalem means
"City of Peace" and I will share some special oasis of tranquility in this vibrant heart city.
We will spend time with representatives of different traditions who are committed to peace.
If there has ever been the call within your heart "next year in Jerusalem", may it find a blessed fulfillment.

My focus however, will be to provide spiritual direction for the tour.
Thomas Atum O´Kane
Thomas Atum O’Kane, PhD. has a doctorate in Transpersonal Psychology and a Masters degree in Psychological Counseling. He presents seminars, trainings and programs on a broad range of themes that integrate psychological and spiritual dimensions with the intention of making the deepest teachings accessible and relevant. His gift for the art of storytelling is woven through all his presentations. He has trained at the Christian Guild for Spiritual Guidance. Among his mentors are the Sufi master Pir Vilayat Inayat Khan and the Jewish mystic Zalman Schachter. His four children have been wonderful heart–teachers.Included in the price:
Accommodation in double rooms and breakfast and dinner in Jerusalem. Transport by private bus to the Sea of Galilee, double room with breakfast and dinner. You will keep your room in Jerusalem during that time. Entrance Fees during group activities A welcome and a good bye dinner All lectures and mediations with Atum and other teachers and guests.
Not included:
Costs for insurance, tips, lunches, and drinks. Flight to Israel: The costs for the flight to/from Israel are not included in this price. We do advise that you make reservations as soon as possible, as this will be a busy travel seasons. You should arrive the evening of the 3rd and plan to leave during the night 13th/14th. You will be flying into Tel Aviv and group taxis and buses will take you to the hotel in Jerusalem. Transport to and from the airport in Tel Aviv is not included.

The group size will be limited, minimum size is 15, to reserve your place we recommend that you register soon by returning the included registration form with your payment of 1/3 of the price for the tour Registration will be accepted in the order of the payments received.
Language :
The tour will be in English.
Payment, Cancellations and Refunds:
1/3 of the total is due with the registration, 1/2 by December 1st and the rest by February 1st, 2010. Cancellations have to be in writing, a 10% cancellation fee applies for cancellations made before December 1st, 30% after December 1st and 60% after February 1st. For cancellation after February 25th no refunds can me made. We strongly advice you, to take out a travel and cancellation insurance at the time of your booking.
