The dance of the Soul
Week 4C August 13th–18th 2018
Young Adults Retreat (ages 18–29) with Deepa Gulrukh Patel & Jacob Ellenberg
“The dance of the soul is beyond mere poetry, and when music expresses itself as the dance of the soul it becomes something higher than music.”
– Hazrat Inayat Khan
Life is like a symphony. All of life’s thoughts, feelings, sensations, sounds, shapes, colours are as the notes in this divine concert. At times we feel ourselves in harmony with the music that comes from within and without. At other times, we may feel discord and conflict, within and without. This summer we will explore tools and practices for tuning ourselves to the music of life, so that we may learn to play our note clearly and joyfully. Join us for a week of meditation, contemplation, music and fun!
