Awakening the Heart

Awakening the Heart July 20th - 23rd 2020 Group Retreat with Malik Hirschberg and Batin Hermes In the course of this week we want to dive into the wonderful theme of this year's Camp. If there is anything to be developed on the spiritual path, it is the quality of the heart. Throughout these days we will try to experience what it really means when the heart becomes so silent and empty that the voice of God transpires. This week might unveil what the feeling, seeing and knowing heart is meant to be. The knowing heart that in realising itself, is transformed into love; a pure heart reflecting the love of God. In noble silence, with Wazaif and Dhikr, we want to devote ourselves to the heart that is love. We will also integrate various yogic practices into the week to support this alchemical process in trying to discover the nature of our true being. Young Adults Retreat

Tuning to the Infinite July 31st - August 2nd 2020
Young Adults Retreat with Deepa Gulrukh Patel & Jacob Ellenberg   This year, we journey into retreat, a time-honed process of mystical transformation.   Ultimately, the retreat is about accelerating the evolution of our being, humanity, the planet, and the cosmos. The retreat process has come down to us through the ages as a synthesis of spiritual traditions and practices. Working with core elements of our experience--sound, music, breath, movement and concentration--the retreat orchestrates conditions suitable for shedding our past, deepening our present, and infusing our futures with grandeur of who we really are. Our souls long for a truth and experience beyond what the everyday world tends to offer, and the retreat is an illuminating method for approaching that hallowed ground.   We look forward to our journey together.     Schedule (Central European Time): Click here to see which timezone you’re in, and to calculate the time difference to CET (Berlin, Paris).

» Schedule (Central European Time): Click here to see which timezone you're in, and to calculate the time difference to CET (Berlin, Paris). 7 août 3.00pm - 4.15pm CET: Session 1 4.45pm - 6.00pm CET: Session 2 8.00pm - 9.30pm CET: Evening programmeAugust 8th 3.00pm - 4.15pm CET: Session 1 4.45pm - 6.00pm CET: Session 2 8.00pm - 9.30pm CET: Evening programmeAugust 9th 3.00pm - 4.15pm CET: Session 1 4.45pm - 6.00pm CET: Session 2 8.00pm - 9.30pm Universal WorshipTo make the workshops as accessible as possible, we offer three different price ranges.

Voyage Through the Spheres

Voyage Through the Spheres July 24th - 26th 2020
Silent Group Retreat with Pir Zia Inayat-Khan The body and mind are a microcosm of the universe. All that is without is mirrored within. The sun, the moon, the planets, and the stars imprint their signatures in our forms and personalities. To awaken to the harmony of the spheres within is to awaken to the fullness of our divinely established primal nature, and to be quickened in the fulfillment of our life’s purpose. In this three day long silent retreat, Pir Zia will lead a silent journey through the stations of spiritual alchemy, traversing the interior landscapes that stretch from the obscurity of the unexamined life to the “fragrant gold” of the soul’s self-realization. Meditation, invocation, and sacred music will interlace to evoke ever subtler and vaster domains of being.  Schedule (Central European Time): Click here to see which timezone you’re in, and to calculate the time difference to CET (Berlin, Paris).July 24th 2.45pm - 3.00pm CET: Attunement 3.00pm - 4.15pm CET: Session 1 4.45pm - 6.00pm CET: Session 2 8.00pm - 9.15pm CET: Session 3 July 25th 2.45pm - 3.00pm CET: Attunement 3.00pm - 4.15pm CET: Session 1 4.45pm - 6.00pm CET: Session 2 8.00pm - 9.30pm CET: Sama with Gorkem SenJuly 26th 2.45pm - 3.00pm CET: Attunement 3.00pm - 4.15pm CET: Session 1 4.45pm - 6.00pm CET: Session 2 8.00pm - 9.15pm CET: Session 3 To make the workshops as accessible as possible, we offer three different price ranges.

Consciousness in an Age of Climate Crisis

Consciousness in an Age of Climate Crisis August 7th - 9th 2020
Seminar with Karma Lekshe Tsomo, Omid Safi, Hu Dost, Deepa Gulrukh Patel & Nora Müller As climate crisis headlines threaten to overwhelm our psyches, we must take stock of how spiritual traditions, practice, and inner guidance can inform our personal and collective response to the challenges before us. This summer’s programme aims to use orientations and practices from Sufism, Buddhism, the world’s prophetic traditions, and social justice perspectives to address how we, collectively and individually, can best engage with the realities and fears of climate change. Through a choreography of spiritual practice, dialogue, and music, a cadre of teachers, guides, and artists will support attendees in a novel process of awakening to and navigating the inner and outer landscape of the climate crisis. This programme is not a condemnation of human behavior or cry for collective austerity. Nor is it a denial of climate realities and an invitation to ignore growing concerns.  Instead, we intend to gather with open eyes to explore how we can respond to a changing world with integrity and full awareness. Perhaps now more than ever we must heed the great African American mystic and mentor to Martin Luther King Jr., Howard Thurman, who said, “Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it. Sounding your Note

Sounding your Note July 20th – August 17th 2020
Weekly seminar with Hassan Suhrawardi Gebel We each have a note to sound in the symphony of the whole. The metaphor of the symphony conveys the idea of the harmonious working of the interconnected whole. By sounding our note, we take part in the vast ecological network of aspiring souls, which resonates subliminally like a symphony of surpassing beauty. Hazrat Inayat Khan recognized the importance of accomplishment through finding our note. He called it Mastery Through Accomplishment. In this class, we will explore the process he described intensively both in a large group and in smaller groups. The teachings are most useful when you apply them to a specific tangible goal in your life. The aim of the class is to help you develop a plan that you can take home and carry out using what you have learned. Everyone has a purpose in life and working with these teachings eventually leads you to discover the larger purpose of your life. The sessions will take place on a weekly basis over the course of 5 weeks.   Schedule (Central European Time): Click here to see which timezone you’re in, and to calculate the time difference to CET (Berlin, Paris). The journey of life took him through many careers including astrophysicist, improvisational actor, alternative psychotherapist, and Secretary General of the Sufi Order International. He has continued exploring purpose in its larger context with a second book, Nature’s Hidden Dimension, Envisioning the Inner Life of the Universe ...
